Adding a new Public Book club is easy. The screen above shows you the main information needed to create a new book club. Although we show you 6 steps, it can be as easy as 3 because we have set defaults to streamline the process.
- Book Club Name – This is the name of your Book Club. Make it meaningful so you can attract other users to your discussion. Keep in mind that since this is a public Book Club, everyone is welcome and the name cannot be edited by you or any other users.
- Description – This is the description of your book club and it appears under the name on the main Book Club listing screen. This is where you let the rest of the members know what you want to discuss.
- Enable this Book Club – This is defaulted to YES because setting it to NO would make the Book Club un-usable. Book Clubs set to NO will be deleted from the system.
- Enable Anonymous Posting for Users – This is defaulted to NO so that we are confident that each posting is by an authorized Curling Up user.
- Default Language – The default setting is English. If this works for you then there is no need to set this, otherwise select the language that you want to use for this Public Book Club.
- Save/Delete – Once you have finished filling out the form, click the Save button to create the new Public Book Club. Due to caching, it may take a few minutes for your new Book Club to show up on the Book Club listing screen.
