It may seem like a no-brainer why we would have a book store attached to a book club community site but we have some not so obvious reasons as well. Obviously we want our members to continue to read and use our community to discuss the books they are reading. But we also feel a commitment to give to charity. Since membership to our site is free, selling books through the site allows us to give back. So a portion of all commissions we receive from book sales will go to charities we believe in. As we grow we will hopefully add to the number of charities we can support in the name of our members. Now let’s look at the screen:

1. Book Selections – Here you will see a listing of the latest and most popular books on the market.
2. Paging – Since there are so many books and they obviously can’t all fit on one screen, the paging feature allows you to move from page to page to see more books.
3. Search – The Search functionality allows you to select what you want to Search (e.g., Books, Music, Movies) and then insert your Search criteria and click GO. This will update the screen with the results of your search.
4. Go To Amazon – Since we are using Amazon as our fulfillment model we have a link to them so you can search for other items Amazon carries (e.g., tools, household, gardening, etc.). Linking through us allows us to collect a referral fee for any purchase you make. So PLEASE remember Curling Up when you purchase from Amazon so we can provide more value to the charities we support.
5. Browse By Category – Clicking any of these links with update the screen with category specific selections.
