This book is a real "when life gives you lemons" sort of read and I found it appealed to me on a number of levels ~ forging through a break-up, travel, relationships, family and most importantly, grasping opportunity when life deals you hardship. It was fun to relate to the author's time in Sacramento and places of interest mentioned throughout the capitol city. I enjoyed the style of writing Franz Wisner delivered. He did a respectful job of juxtaposing his thoughts, emails back home, and postcards/correspondance to his grandmother (LaRue). Being a mother of 3 under the age of eight, traveling to the lengths that Franz and his brother did is out-of-the-question, so it was nice to travel vicariously through this book. Aside from wanting to know more about their sister Lisa (as she is only briefly touched upon in this read), the book is great and worth a read. :)
