This author made life in Paris before and after the German occupation during WWII very real - complete with selfishness, selflessness and even humor. Notes in appendices were almost as interesting as the story. How did you like it?

No unread posts Are you worried about terrorism?
Over the last decade terrorism has become the forefront of the headline news. As author of HOW TO SURVIVE A TERRORIST ATTACK IN AUSTRALIA, I asking the public an important question- Do you believe that books on surviving terrorism can actually help people be aware of the terrorist threat we are now facing and possibly help save lives or do you believe that if a terrorist wants to attack we can do nothing to stop them? this book is one of the best books i have ever read.....it is set in manhattan 1899 and has alot of twists and turns along the way....especially at the ending!! i would definantly recommend it to all teenagers and any1 who likes the gossip girl books....its a great book so definantly read it...i couldnt put it down....this is the book's quote. "Pretty girls in pretty dresses partying until dawn. irresistable boys with shy smiles and dangerous intentions. white lies, dark secrets, and scandolous hookups. this is manhattan, 1899." this book is definantly not 4 anyone under 13. i am 13 years old and it was probably even pushing it 4 me.....lol....but i definanly reccomend it 2 every teenager....or adult.....its an awesome book!!
