If you liked "My Sister's Keeper", I'm sure you will like "Keeping Faith" also. I think that is the one that takes place in the Amish community. A mysterious baby is found dead on one of the farms and in the process of resolving the mystery, you get a great picture of the Amish culture.
One of the things I like about Piccoult is that she usually includes back-up on a particular culture (i.e. Midwives) in addition to the story telling. The questions that came up in our book club were centered around the motivations and ethics of the characters. Not only the midwife, but her daughter, the woman who died, her husband, the assistant, the attorney, etc. Most were sympathetic to the midwife's plight in the situation, but two people felt strongly that she was wrong because she should have known better in those circumstances. Another good question was over the choice of saving the baby or the mother. I don't honestly know what I would have done, faced with that choice.
